What we actually use

thenightapp.com uses a single kind of cookie: an essential session cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) that keeps you signed in to your venue or admin account while you use the dashboard. It’s strictly necessary for the site to work — there’s no way to use a logged-in area of this website without it.

We don’t use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts on this website today. That’s why you don’t see a cookie consent banner here — under GDPR/ePrivacy rules, consent banners are required for non-essential cookies, and we’re not currently setting any.

If that changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking to this website, we’ll update this policy and add a consent mechanism before doing so — not after.

The mobile app

The Night App mobile app doesn’t use browser cookies at all — it authenticates using secure device-stored tokens instead. See our Privacy Policy for what the app itself collects.
